​The World Para Athletics (WPA) World Championships began today in New Delhi, India and run through Oct 5th. 
Three current ParaSport Spokane athletes are representing team USA. 
▪Bob Hunt (T53 wheelchair racer) In his third world championships will be racing in the 100m and 400m events. 
▪Lindi Marcusen (T63 above the knee amputee sprinter and jumper). The 2024 Paralympian is doing the 100m and Long Jump at her first WPA Worlds.
▪Taylor Swanson (T37 athlete with cerebral palsy) The 2x Paris Paralympic Games medalist will look to add to improve on her 2x medal haul from the 2024 WPA world championships in Kobe Japan in the 100m and 200m distances. 
 
Three ParaSport Spokane alumni are also competing: 
▪Hannah Dederick T54 100/400/800m 
▪Alicia Guerrero F64 Shot Put / Discus 
▪Jaleen Roberts T37 Long Jump (Bronze Medal)
