Well this looks fun doesn't it?

This crew of young athletes are learning valuable movement skills through play! Futures is a non-competitive program and participants can start as early as birth. This program takes place right before basketball practices on Saturday mornings (see our calendar for more details) and when or if these athletes want to transition into wheelchair basketball they can join our Emerging Team! When ready, they can also join our track and field team, swimming, strength and conditioning, sled hockey, boccia and fencing!

Not just for wheelchair users, those who can stand are encouraged to join, as well as those with visual impairments. We take a growth approach with all of our members.

This stations based activity group rotate through fun and engaging stations that focus on the ABC's of sport.
A gility (using a wheelchair, or standing, if able)
B alance
C oordination (hand-eye, body movement)
S peed (both hand speed and foot speed)

When does it happen?

This group typically meets on Saturday mornings at 9am. Download our monthly calendar here to be sure that you don't miss out.
