The staff and membership at ParaSport Spokane are in the thick of the wheelchair basketball season. With 3 tournaments contested already, we are preparing for the next three months of tournaments including the potential to travel with teams to two national championships.

The largest determining factor in if we travel is financial. To travel to nationals requires flights, hotel, the cost of food, and on-site transportation. Hence our second annual Pairing with ParaSport, Great Wine for a Great Cause!

A great cause indeed (although we are a bit biased), check out each of these smiling faces that every penny goes to support...

...funds raised help offset not only competitive costs, but also cover expenses for equipment repair (wheelchair wheels, spokes, tires, gloves, basketballs, throwing implements, tape, medical supplies), and help us offset costs for our facility rental fees.

ParaSport Spokane athletes compete recreationally, locally, with their schools, at state meets, nationally, and even internationally!

In 2017, thanks to funds raised at our Inaugural Pairing with ParaSport Auction, we were able to provide weekly programs for 11 months of the year, we were able to send teams to compete in Louisville at wheelchair basketball nationals, have athletes compete in track meets in Seattle, and at the world championship trials at UCLA!

So many more stories to be shared at the auction...mingling with athletes, coaches, family members and community ambassadors! This is an experience that you don't want to miss.
